A substantial and varied 3-course luncheon is served by the Staff around 12.30 pm There is a good choice of menu. Residents dine in their own Apartments, and are encouraged to invite friends and family to join them as guests.

Breakfast/Supper foods are supplied and delivered to each Apartment every week, also a variety of grocery items such as bread, butter, sugar, milk, eggs, fruit juice etc.

We also do our utmost to cater for individual dietary needs.

All Apartments are equipped with a 24-hour on call system. Residents have keys to their own Apartments and to the main entrance door.  All are free to come and go as they please; there are no restrictions.

Our Minibus service takes residents to Torquay shops, St.  Marychurch shopping Precinct, and the Willows every week.

We will also take to and collect from any medical appointment.

Our Lounge is bright, airy and tastefully furnished. Here residents can meet informally to take Tea and Coffee, which is served daily.

There are various indoor games such as Scrabble, Chess, etc. and  occasionally other quiz games are organised.  Visiting musicians, small choirs and other entertainers are also invited to come along.

On Summer days, one can enjoy the delights of the open-air, such as garden tea parties - or simply relax on the terrace in the sunshine. We also have a weekly Library Service.

So, ever mindful of our aims, high ideals and aspirations which are ever before us, we would venture to prophesy that Sundial Lodge will stand the test of time as a first class, high ranking establishment.  It is now regarded and well known as a Home of quality, distinction and reliability.

We shall endeavour to uphold this reputation and guard it jealously with pride and dedication.
