It entirely depends on the severity of the nursing care you need. Very few of our residents have ever reached the stage beyond our abilities to care for them.
If after some time this should become an issue we will help you speak to the necessary authorities to request the funding you need to enable you to stay.
This situation is not uncommon and due to our preparing all food on the premises we are able to tailor to any special dietary needs.
We care for your needs 24 hours a day 7 days a week with 2 night care staff that are awake throughout the night, every night.
At Sundial Lodge, all residents have a spacious private apartment that can easily accommodate friends and family visits. They can even make you a cup of tea or light snack in their own kitchen. Unlike many homes we love to see grandchildren enjoying the garden and hearing their laughter.
Due to the nature of Sundial Lodge we attract the more able bodied and minded people. This means they are generally inclined to seek conversation and companionship from each other.
A number of residents have various caged birds and fish tanks. Unfortunately however, we do not allow cats and dogs.
No. Our fees are fully inclusive no matter how much care you require. We only increase our fees annually in relation to the increase in our costs.
